Indonesia: Deactivation of the Electronic Catalogue System Version 5

On October 30, 2024, the Deputy for Digital Procurement Transformation at Indonesia’s National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP) issued a decision to deactivate the Electronic Catalogue Version 5, aimed at streamlining the e-Catalogue business process.

  • Deactivation of Product Showcase Creation for Local/Sectoral e-Catalogue: Effective immediately, the feature to create new product showcases is disabled as part of this transition

  • Staged Deactivation of Product Showcases: The deactivation of product showcases will proceed in stages according to the following schedule and criteria:

    • Stage 1: In October 2024, product showcases (local and sectoral) with no transaction history or listed products will be deactivated.

    • Stage 2: In November 2024, 21 product showcases from the Regency/City Local e-Catalogues, as listed in the official Decision Letter, will be deactivated. This applies to categories with previous transaction history initiated by LKPP, including:

      • Agricultural Tools and/or Machinery
      • Office Stationery
      • Asphalt
      • Building Materials
      • Staple Goods / Basic Goods
      • Media Expenditure
      • Horticultural Seeds
      • Food Crop Seeds
      • Plantation Crop Seeds
      • Ready Mix Concrete
      • Precast Concrete
      • Farm Animals
      • Security Services
      • Cleaning Services
      • Waste Management Services
      • Food and Beverages
      • Official/Service Uniform and Traditional Fabrics
      • School Uniform
      • Service for Vehicles
      • Souvenirs
      • Building Maintenance

    • Stage 3: In December 2024, all remaining product showcases (National, Local, Sectoral) will be deactivated, except for those unable to be transferred to e-Catalogue Version 6.

Review and Deactivation Process

The Directorate of the Digital Procurement Market will audit product showcases based on these criteria. If approved, the Deputy for Digital Procurement Transformation will issue a deactivation order. In cases where proposals require modification, the Deputy’s instructions will guide further revisions.

Next Steps for Product Providers:

All providers currently listing in e-Catalogue Version 5 (https://e-katalog.lkpp.go.id/) should promptly relist their products in e-Catalogue Version 6 (https://katalog.inaproc.id/) in the appropriate categories. Providers managing product showcases in district or city e-Catalogues are encouraged to transition their listings to the Provincial e-Catalogue.

Important Note: The Ministry of Health will continue to accept Sectoral Health Facility Showcases for listing until December 31, 2024.
