On March 20, 2025, the Indonesian government issued a follow-up notification in accordance with Circular Letter No. 9 of 2024 regarding the transition from Electronic Catalogue Version 5 to Version 6. The updated guidance outlines the deactivation of certain commodities from Version 5 and introduces a phased migration to the enhanced Version 6 platform.
This transition is intended to improve standardisation, transparency, and governance in public procurement, while continuing to support National Strategic Programs (Program Strategis Nasional) and essential public services

- Deactivation of Version 5: The deactivation of Goods/Services listed under Electronic Catalogue Version 5 was implemented on March 20, 2025, with some exceptions.

- Medicines and medical devices (as proposed by the Ministry of Health)
- Construction materials (based on requests from the Ministry of Public Works)
- Other sector-specific commodities consolidated under relevant ministries and agencies
- Development of Version 6: The new catalogue version is being developed in collaboration with ministries, institutions, and local governments to ensure a smooth and standardised rollout.
- Alignment with National Priorities: Procurement policies under Version 6 will continue to support national strategic initiatives and urgent public needs.

Implications to Clients
Clients may continue to purchase medical devices listed in e-Catalogue Version 5 until further notice. Orders placed before March 20, 2025, will still be processed. The transition to Version 6 will be gradual, ensuring that essential products remain accessible throughout the changeover.
