Indonesia: Update on Medical Device Curation Progress for National Electronic e-Catalogue Version 6

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has issued an official notification providing an update on the progress of the medical device curation process for inclusion in the National Electronic e-Catalogue Version 6 (“the e-Catalogue”).

Key Updates

The Ministry of Health of Indonesia shared an update on the curation progress of product listed in the e-Catalogue Version 6 as of 7 November 2025, summarized as below

1. Master Product Submissions

As stated in the Notification Letter:

  • Total submissions: 136,044 products
  • Pending approval: 10,907 (8.02%)
  • Completed curation: 124,858 (91.78%), consisting of:
    • Approved: 100,522 products (80.51%)
    • Rejected: 24,336 products (19.49%)

2. Detailed Product Submissions

According to the Notification Letter:

  • Total submissions: 58,006 products
  • Not yet curated: 18,391 (31.71%)
  • Under curation: 15,023 (25.90%)
  • Deleted / Not found: 7,650 (13.19%)
  • Completed curation: 16,942 (29.21%), consisting of:
    • Approved: 3,949 products (23.31%)
    • Rejected: 12,993 products (76.69%)

3. Notification of Curation Results

License holders will be informed once the curation process for their submissions has been completed, whether the result is approved or rejected.

  • For rejected master product submissions, license holders may resubmit.
  • For rejected detailed product submissions, applicants may submit corrections, taking into account the remarks and reasons for rejection issued by the curation team.

4. Acceleration of Curation Timeline

The Ministry of Health will expedite the curation of medical device submissions as follows:

  • Submissions received up to 31 October 2025 will be completed by 14 November 2025.
  • Submissions received up to 30 November 2025 will be completed by 31 December 2025.

In line with this acceleration schedule, the Ministry requests cooperation from all medical device industry associations to encourage their members to submit master and detailed product listings no later than 30 November 2025, ensuring all required documents comply with the Announcement of Product Listing for the Medical Device Category.

Implications to Clients

Clients intending to list their products in the National Electronic e-Catalogue Version 6 are advised to submit their master and detailed product listing applications — and complete any pending submissions or revisions — no later than 30 November 2025. Doing so will ensure inclusion in the curation batch scheduled for completion by 31 December 2025.
